Research And Implement Of Network Video Surveillance System Based On Darwin Streaming Server And MPEG4IP

So far, the video surveillance technology has gone through three generations. The third generation video surveillance technology, which is the network video surveillance technology, attracts more and more attention because of its advantages. This thesis is based on the third generation video surveillance technology.This thesis focus on the network video surveillance system technology, it describe the development process of a network video surveillance system with the software engineering method, including requirements analysis, system design, program design and system testing. The basic network video monitoring capabilities can be realized by MPEG4IP and Darwin streaming server. The users can access the network camera with a domain name by the DDNS, and they can control the Pan & Tilt, the camera and encoding parameters in a remote place by the Remote Control Program.The project that this thesis based on has developed a networking, digitized, intelligentized network video surveillance system. The project the thesit based on use the MPEG4IP to Embedded System, and realized the hardware coding technology of Freescale's IMX27 chip by the modification of the MPEG4IP.
