Frequency-Hopping (FH) is a kind of spread spectrum communication technique. Due to strong anti-interference ability and high security, it is widely used in military field since it comes out. In recent years, with the rapid development of FH technique, it has a broad application prospect in civilian areas, such as mobile communication, personal communication, radar, navigation, power line communication, wireless LAN and so on.Synchronization is one of the key technologies in FH communication system, which should be solved firstly. This is also the research content of this paper. By comparison of the basis of the frequency hopping synchronization technology, a synchronization scheme is designed, which is achieved by using a method combined synchronization-head with time of day (TOD). We also analyze the synchronization performance of this synchronization scheme in math. In order to realize FH networking, all nodes in the network should be synchronized. Grading diffusion is used to archive network synchronization. Also, a set of synchronization management scheme is given in this paper. Finally, according to the designing scheme, we accomplish the software design, and test its feasibility on the OMNeT++ simulation platform.
