The development of modern wireless communication technology will create favorable conditions for the battlefield intelligence collection. Viewed the current status that underwater target detecting networks existed has difficult to accomplish the military targets tracking in shallow areas, we studied a kind of underwater target detecting network combined with magnetic sensor and wireless networks in this paper, which based on the wireless sensor network technology(WSN)and the magnetic anomaly detection technology(MAD), and achieved the design implementation of underwater target detecting networks with conventional communications network. Paper focuses on the magnetic localization algorithm of underwater target detecting network, on the assumption that using magnetic dipole model to simulate the underwater targets magnetic field distribution, we established the train of thought that finding out the maximum value of collecting data for algorithm design, and show a concrete deduction process of the objects tracking algorithm in both case of magnetic declination absent and magnetic declination existed. At last, the paper takes simulation experiments with the platform of MATLAB to verify the usefulness of the objects tracking algorithm both original and the improved on the ideal network distribution, and confirmed the feasibility of enhance the algorithm accuracy by magnetic moment multiple estimating through the objects tracking.
