With the rapid development of electronics and communication technology, the electromagnetic environment around us becomes more and more complex and changeable, therefore Electromagnetic Compatibility(EMC) problem is becoming more crucial. Radio Frequency Electromagnetic Susceptibility(RFEMS) test is a very important item of EMC test items. This test is used to check whether equipment under test(EUT)is able to work properly in some electromagnetic environment.Based on the background of actual needed project, considering the facts that the construction of standard EMC lab costs too much, the performances of a low-cost electromagnetic shield enclosure used for pretest are analyzed timely, where the main reflection region, quiet zone, electronic performances and inherent resonant are especially focused on, and a method to restrain resonances of shield enclosure is researched, by appending a U-shaped frame to absorb the waves inside. Use XFDTD software modeled, simulated and analyzed for the field uniformity of shielded enclosure which add the U-shaped absorber frame. The feasibility of the improved model of lab for RS test is proved. Methods, equipments used, and the layout and ideas of the auto-test software for the RS test are given, finally.
