System Configurator Based On AUTOSAR Standard

With the automotive electronic technology widely applied in cars, automotive electronic control system and its network become more and more complex. Therefore, the modular and standardized software architecture for automotive electronic control system becomes popular these years. Developing automotive embedded software based on the AUTOSAR standard is obviously a trend.This paper firstly presents the recent development status of automotive electronics embedded systems and domestic and international system configuration tools. And we will analyze the AUTOSAR standard architecture and its development process. As one of the three important tools in the AUTOSAR development process, system configurator works and solves problems at the system level.Base on the modular design approach, this paper focuses on the analysis and implementation of the three main functional modules of the system configurator, including the hardware topology design module which establishes ECU instances and communication clusters, the system mapping module which maps software components to the ECU and maps communication data into the system signals, and the network configuration module which configures ISignals, PDUs, frames and channels. Furthermore, the paper also describes the data models and user interface design for the system configurator, the input and output modules, the extraction method of ECU-based configuration description and relationship between ECU configuration templates and system template.In the paper, an application example for lights control system, which is developed by the system configurator, together with software component designer and ECU configurator, is presented.
