The development and progress of the computer software and hardware technology and the network technology has a profound impact on all areas of the world.The information and control integrated system has become the main trends of the field of industrial automation and adapts to the tide of the computer technology and network technology in the industrial applications development . As the automated system has great forward in the Management-Control Integration System, the field of process control, communications, computers and many other areas of technology cross-links become more closely. At present, the bottom control network constituted by the field bus is widely used in the industrial control field, so the Ethernet has become the first choice of the management and the information networks. Therefore, the hybrid network control systems are favored by the users increasingly, then the realization of the seamless connectivity across multiple networks become especially important.This article embarks from the development present situation of the control network and the information network, particularly analysis the characteristic between the field bus and the Ethernet, introduced three kind of different designs of the wireless gateway and elaborated the pros and cons of three kind of plans from the angle of the difficulty degree of the development and cost. Finally, according to the actual situation, we proposed the solution of using the ARM or the DSP of the slightly higher microprocessor with theμCOS-II or Linux embedded operating system .To meet the needs of the practical engineering applications, The article introduced the field bus, the Ethernet network architecture and the principle, including CAN2.0B and TCP/IP standard protocolμCOS-II embedded operating system in detail, based that, discussed the network architecture, the ideal of protocol conversion and network model of"ARM+μCOS-II +TCP/IP"plan.Then the article introduced the basic interface circuit of the embedded gateway's hardware platform. The paper introduced the design and the realization of the gateway program, which focused on the CAN communications, and the host computer communication and the overall software design. Finally, the article gived a simple experiment. This topic, as a part of "design and realization of wireless net gate in hybrid network control system", finished the basic establishment of the communication loop and provided a reference for the design of the wireless data transmission system.
