The optical fiber electric power sensing assembly is a new electric power measurement equipment developed in recent years, mainly used in the voltage (electric field) measurement of radar and electromagnetic pulse weapon, monitoring of harmonic voltage and surge voltage in electrical network, monitoring of electric power parameters in big electric machine and high voltage electrical equipments, discharging phenomenon analysis in the electrical sealing devices, research such as ion flow field and long gap discharging characteristic near the super high voltage transmission line. Its distinguishing features are anti electromagnetic interference, corrosion resistance, high voltage resistance, flame-proof, explosion-proof, high measurement precision, reliable and safe, and the measurement can be performed far away from the location. In particular, it can be connected with optical fiber transmission network to realize the remote measurement and monitoring of system. It can also satisfy easily the requirements of miniaturization, intelligentization and multifunctional, all of these are unable to be replaced by traditional electric power measurement equipments.The research of optical fiber electric power sensing assembly involves in many academic fields such as photoelectron technology, optical fiber technology, analogue digital electron technology, computer technology, high voltage technology, crystallology and material technology etc, with great difficulties. On the basis of analyzing the development of optical fiber electric power sensing assembly in domestic and aboard, aiming at the disadvantages present in the existing power sensor, we develop a new high precision electric power sensing assembly based on DSP. The practice progress is accelerated through three batches of production, which can satisfy the high voltage measurement both in military field and civil electrical network, offering the important military significance and enormous economic benefit.Firstly, we put forward using optical fiber electric power sensing assembly to measure the parameters of high voltage big current equipment on line, so as to illustrate the necessity and urgency of the project through investigating the high precision optical fiber electric power sensing assembly, the project has social and economic effect.Secondly, we deduce the sensing mechanism of key components in practical optical fiber electric power sensing assembly, describe the design basis of overall sensor structure in terms of design, manufacture and installation etc., as well as the key technologies of optical part and signal processing part.And then, according to the use environment of products, we investigate the factors influencing the performance and reliability of product, and further perform certain theoretical analysis. After that, introduce the test method for relative characteristic of the sensor, analyze the test data, in order to obtain the key technologies and method of manufacturing sensor with high precision.At last, on the basis of completing the sample manufacturing of optical fiber electric power sensing assembly, we put forward the direction of further engineering research.The optical fiber electric power sensing assembly developed by us uses Faraday effect sensitive current and Pockels effect sensitive voltage. The measurement range of current sensor is 0~1000A in current, 0~10000 V in voltage, with 0.1% of precision, respond time no more than 2 microseconds and 10 kilometers of transmission distance.
