In this paper, a distributed power system based on high power density converter modules in parallel current sharing for phased array radar is investigated and designed. At first, some issues on the distributed power systems'power architecture are discussed. Then the composition of power system and its principles are given. Consequently, intelligent power blockings (including primary power supply and secondary power supply) and its sub-circuits are fully analyzed and designed according to the system requirements. Then the power supervising system based on C8051F040 including its hardware and software is fully designed. At last, the feasibility and validity of the designed power systems are verified by the experimental results, and good performance is obtained. An approach and reference on DPS for phased array radar is provided in this paper. Some notes and future works about DPS for phased array radar are also discussed at the end. |
