Abstract/Summary:
The globalized market and manufacturing service network has come into being with the growth of EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Service) industry. More and more enterprises have been aware of the importance of collaborating with their business partners. It will be helpful to leverage the partner's advantage. Therefore, the companies'competition is the competition of their controlled supply chains. As a key technology of supply chain integration, B2Bi (Business-To-Business integration) can help to keep up with the rapid changes of customer business requirements. B2B integration capability has become the key indicator of supply chain management level and response speed。As a centralized manufacturer, EMS Company has become the core of integrating upstream and downstream firms. Consequently, the capability of B2B integration has became more important. However, the various B2B standards emerge and regionalized character are present with the development of B2B e-commerce. They are challenging the B2B integration solution, especially to EMS Company acted as the centre of supply chain. So it is a core task to design B2Bi architecture with scalable, repeatable integration capability as a competitive advantage based on speed, simplicity and reliability. At the same time, with the development of business models (Such as, configure-to-order, build-to-order), customer requires more rapid response to contract manufacturer. Moreover, with the Merging and Acquisition between EMS companies, diversified enterprise applications are brought up. There are more challenges on the system maintenance and administration.B2B integration architecture technology has been analyzed and researched in this dissertation. Based on principle of speed, simplicity, repeatability and reliability, the universal SOA-based B2B integration architecture has been designed. The complexity and efficiency issues in B2B integration have been solved successfully.This solution developed webMethods-centralized star-typed EAI architecture and designed B2B messages receiving and sending interface framework. At the same time, how to process the various B2B data standards and protocols in this architecture has been researched and the processes have been designed. Moreover, the B2B order commitment automation solution has been designed for various business models. The standardized solution can help to reduce the developer and implementor's research and design time for B2B integration. This is helpful to allow B2B team focus on the business requirements analysis and implementation. So EMS Enterprise can integrate business process and software system with their business partners easily in a short period.The followings have been done in this dissertation. Firstly, the B2B integration solution using webMethods platform is decided after comparison and analysis of various B2B standards and integration solution. Secondly, key technologies are researched so as to implement the B2Bi solution. They include: B2B integration architecture design to fulfill repeatable execution and rapid integration; OPS (order promising solution) design to fulfill the rapid response of business transaction; Solution migration research to fulfill the centralized administration by uniform platform. Lastly, an actual example is introduced to brief you how to implement B2Bi between EMS companies and their trading partners.
