Fingerprint Identification Algorithm Optimization And Research Of Application

Fingerprint recognition technology is considered with the advantages of strong pertinency, convenience, safety and so on. But at the same time such problems still exists in the fingerprint recognition system which is lower rate of recognition, slow operation, this is the application bottleneck which is based on the fingerprint recognition system, so, how to improve the efficiency of fingerprint recognition has already become a hot spot which was discussed among the industry. This paper use principles of fingerprint identification and analysis of related technology as a foundation to bring out the proposed fingerprint recognition algorithm for optimization and the solutions of application, all this can makes practical application valuable by improving the capability, it also has a referential significance to such system that is similar.In this paper, the algorithm of fingerprint image preprocessing ,feature extraction and feature matching were all discussed and researched in detail. In the preprocssing stage: an improved algorithm based on the variance threshold were proposed to the segmentation of the image which turned out to get a better effect of the fingerprint image segmentation. Based on this, the Gabor filtering were used to enhance the image, the local adaptive shreshold algorithm were adopted to the binarization of the image of fingerprint ,and through the latter modification achieved the noise removel of the binary image , finally , by using the iterative algorithm carried out the fingerprint image thinning. In the fingerprint feature extraction stage: using the 8 image-based refinament method to extraction all the endpoints and branch point of the fingerprint .In the feature matching stage : a minutiae-based method accomplished the fingerprint matching.At last, based on the above-mentioned algorithm optimization and application, a prototype of machine room management system were developed which takes the fingerprint identification technology as foundation, and conducted tests on the effects of fingerprint identification algorithm. The experiment shows that it works well in all aspects of the machine room management system, the system is running stable, realized the comprehensive integration of the identification of the crew, seated the designated and settlement fund as well as other aspect, makes the supervision up to standardization, and secure.
