The Finite Element Method is an effctive discrete analysis mehotd in dealling with complex engineering problems.The FEM which is based on the classical theories and computer technology,is applied via computer software.The most often used method to analysis slope stability problems is limit equilibrium method at the present stage. Finite Element Method software is not used very often in pratical engineering.This article illustrated the Obiect Oriented Finite Element Method Programming.Obiect-Oriented Programming is more structured,more easily to be written,more easily to be maitained,expanded and more resuable compared with the traditional Finite Element Programming. Obiect-Oriented Programming gives a good approach for the development of large scale finite element analysis software system.In this article, based on slope stability project, with the application of finite element method software MIDAS/GTS,LiZheng slope stsbility analysis software and LiZheng deep foundation pit software,their results are comparatively analyzed. Advantages of Finite Element Software used in slope stability problem is pointed out.Case study also shows the feasibility of Finite Element Software used in slope stability analysis.
