With the rapid development of telecommunications, computer hardware and software, as well as people's increasing demand for handheld devices, the development of the medical information acquisition of hospitals and other medical institutions is also changed. Based on the latest developments of hospital information acquisition systems, a mobile medical information acquisition system, which includes the design of client and server, is designed. This paper includes the modern advanced inspection equipment and resolves some issues of the current hospital information system. The mobile medical information acquisition system which is reliable, convenient and extensible has been developed.Firstly, the current domestic and foreign health care information systems are introduced and then a solution which uses Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system as terminal equipment is proposed. The details of .NET development platform, Visual Studio environment and C # are also introduced in this paper. Secondly, the mobile medical information acquisition system throughout the client to server framework is analyzed; to achieve interactive data Web Service technology is chosen; configuration process of Web Service is also introduced. GPRS wireless network is adopted to transmit data by comparing a variety of wireless networks. Finally, the software system architecture, functions of various modules and various tables are represented. The test of wireless medical information has been carried out in laboratory environment and test result shows that the system is practical, convenient and portable.At last, this paper summarizes the work and research about mobile medical information acquisition system. Some extensions about GPS and Bluetooth Printing are also proposed.
