The Research On Blind Identification Of Convolutional Codes

Blind identification of channel coding is that under the conditions of unknown encoding information, only in accordance with the unknown encoded data, it requires the receiver quickly identify the system and parameters of channel coding. This is also a key technology of non-cooperation communications. In the future intelligent mobile communication and multi-point radio communications, we will make extensive use of adaptive modulation and coding technology. With the change of time and the environment, the channel coding is need to change in order to obtain optimum communications efficiency and service quality. In such a communications environment, we generally can not to achieve the synchronization of Multi-point communication by agreement. Therefore,in order to quickly establish communication links between the receive and transmit,only according to unknown encoded data received it requires the receiver quickly identify the system and parameters of channel coding for the purpose of intelligent communication. In these fields, it also requires the use of blind identification of channel coding techniques.The research on blind identification of channel coding is a relatively special new field, published relevant literature is very little, and these research are mainly focused on the blind identification of convolutional codes,and it is also a challenging and difficult research topic. This paper summarizes research status on blind identification of channel coding techniques,and introduce several currently methods on blind identification of convolutional codes and their advantages and disadvantages. For it's shortcoming we give the improving suggestions and the implementation of technical route. Simulation results show that improved algorithm improves the performance of the blind identification of convolutional codes, and achieve the desired effect. The following is the main work in this paper:This article mainly focuses on the research of the blind identification of convolutional codes. First of all, through the analysis on linear features of the [n, k] linear system block code,we seek to build the theory and methods on the blind identification of linear system block codes; Secondly, we study the mathematical relationship between linear block codes and convolutional codes, and through the use of blind identification of the linear system block codes approach to the study on blind identification of non-error convolutional codes; Thirdly, we analyze the performance of blind identification of error-convolutional codes, and discuss the ways to improve the performance of blind identification. Finally, we summarize the paper and made a further study on technology trends of the blind identification of channel coding.
