Internet health communication is a new forum of health communication. Internet health communication is the use of emerging information and communication technology, especially the Internet, to improve or enable health.Internet offers several poteantial advantages for health behavioral intervention and chronic disease management. Internet can tailor information and messages to participants to personalize their experience, and may enhance the cultural sensitivity of an intervention.Access to information is quicker and it is easier to keep information accurate and updated. Internet interventions also offer some level of anonymity to users that may encourage individuals to seek out sensitive health information. The technology allows for asynchronous communication through BBS that are always available online so individuals can exchange information, provide mutual support, and search for services at their convenience. Now Internet plays an important role in health communication to higher school students.Social ecology is the study of people in an environment and the influences on one another. Previous health communication research often neglected the environmental underpinnings of health and illness.Based on social ecological theory, this thesis deconstructs higher school BBS health communication ecology system on the view of environment, group and topics, discusses the evolution and future development trends of ecology system with the combination of specific cases. Through factor analysis and history analysis, this thesis tries to unearth the factors which influence higher school BBS health communication, in addition, it summarizes the problems and proposes relevant countermeasures.
