Now it is urgent to develop high-powered helicopter for national defence.The development includes many complex and pivotal technology, such as non-linearity characteristic of dynamics and designing of non-linearity control system. In view of the development of computer technology, it is feasible to simulate a helicopter, flight environment and design the control system by computer. After establishing dynamic model of helicopter, we can design the control system for the helicopter, using the most advanced method. We can make our system gain the most excellent performance by repeating trial. So it is a efficient research measure to simulate helicopter mobile flight, which is used to design high-powered helicopter.In order to analyse and design helicopter flight control system, a helicopter flight control 3-dimensional animation simulation platform is developed by modular method. The platform is suitable for many kinds of helicopter flight control systems'design and simulation. Controllers and helicopter models can be loaded and presented to users. Simulation results are illustrated by figure,curve and 3-dimensional animation. The platform is programmed by Visual C++ 6.0, the main interface is developed with MFC, the background computing service is provided by Matlab engine, the helicopter model and flight environment are created by Creator, and real-time performance is implemented by Vega technology. The interfaces among them are perfectly implemented. Vega application design method based on MFC is used, some problems associated with it are promoted and solved. Rotor,empennage and video function are added by assistant function module of Vega. Display synchronization of calculation and animation is realized, the way of releasingplatform is also shown in this paper. The UH-60A"LACK HAWK"helicopter flight control system designed by the in-out loop configuration, which uses H_∞Loop Shaping and quantitative feedback theory (QFT) is used as an example. Flying qualities of this system are evaluated by ADS-33E Criteria and numerically showed. After using this system in the platform, the effectiveness of the control method and advancement of this platform are validated by the resulting figures and curves.
