On the background of exigent demand for the online testing on rice processing, this article focus on the application of rice detection system development. Integrated use of real-time image acquisition, image processing, feature extraction, and feature measurement technology, the system achieved the real-time monitoring of particle state on the rice processing, to provide decision-making for the control system, to provide real-time and save data for Rice particles analyze, and so make the rice processing, testing, analysis, characterization of the process in intelligent, reduced the labor intensity and improve efficiency in the use of the equipment and the production and testing efficiency.This topic comes from the major issue 863: the rice quality, safety and rapid detection methods of green supply chain, the topic number is: 2008AA100801.The paper first discusses the problems of the status question of rice processing at home and abroad, through studied and analyzed the current rice processing aspects of the quality deficiencies, come to the development of image processing technology based on the quality of the rice-line detection system of this important conclusion. And then the development of detection systems for the needs of the image of the relevant theoretical knowledge and technical principles of analysis and discussion; put forward the idea of the hardware design as well as options for the device; and focus on research and development of image processing algorithms and design the entire system software part of the process.Image processing is the important part in detection system, also is the focus of this paper. In this section, the paper included two main aspects, first, is the image denoising problem, for the traditional noise, this paper has made a new improvement algorithm based on the traditional filter, which has a prominent advantage of greatly increased processing speed to meet the requirements of real-time processing. For the special noise of dynamic motion-blurred images, a direct comparison of inverse filtering, Wiener filter, constrained least squares to the three classic to the merits of fuzzy algorithm for an effective and improved final choice Wiener filter recovery as the image restoration algorithm for this article. second, the characteristics of image measurement, this paper extracted the rice grains three characteristics: particle size, particle perimeter, particle size, and for each particle to develop a measurement of the corresponding algorithm, experimental results show that these algorithms can be compared accurate to measure the relevant parameters of rice grains.
