For the past many years the machine vision is an emerging technology which develops, in the industry online examination's application was one of recent years' research hot spots, it might replace humanity's vision to be engaged in aspect and so on examination, target tracking, robot guidance work.. The article take the machine vision technology as a foundation, take the imagery processing technology as the main method, developed has used in the automatic assembly production line quality detection system, main research work including the following content:(1) To study the machine vision system's constitution, and using the image gathering card, the CCD camera, the self-made photo source and the computer constructed has used in assembling the material survey the machine vision system.(2) Has analyzed based on the machine vision assembly material measurement system's composition and the principle of work. Discussed the histogram which in the image survey involved to revise, the image filter and the peaking, image pretreatment technologies as well as the classical marginal check, the Canny marginal check and the outline edge detection examination technology and so on threshold value division. And to determine the cylindrical assembly materials whether there are cracks in the edge of the defect detection.(3) Improved Hough transform method of circular edge extraction and detection, to draw the parameters chosen by the general laws, making a circle detection accuracy is improved. And whether there is to assembles the material to carry on the examination.(4) Using Visual C + +6.0 has developed a two-dimensional size of the assembly materials (Requirements of testing the thickness of the assembly materials) detection processing software.
