A kind of Chlorine Dioxide Generator Control System used in the field of water purification is designed based on the AT89C52 single chip microcontroller. The reaction of hydrochloric acid and sodium chlorite to generate Chlorine Dioxide is used to the device. The control system has two parts of scene controller and long-distance controller. The stroke frequency which is sent to the metering pump by the way of pulse can be got by scene controller according to the real-time value of the water flow and the concentration of the Chlorine Dioxide detected by long-distance controller, the pump's stroke frequency is controlled and the concentration of the Chlorine Dioxide in the water can be controlled precisely. The system is a closed-loop controler and is used to disinfect water. The long-distance controller can monitor the status of the scene and display the current concentration. The pump will be stopped when the system has some fault information such as water shortage, solution shortage, pipeline issues and so on.At the same time, the light will be on and the buzzer will be rung. The scene controller and the long-distance controller use RS-485 communication. The process of the Chlorine Dioxide Generator Control System is analysed particularly in the text,In this foundation, the overall design is done;It also describes the hardware and software which constitute the scene controller and the long-distance controller, such as the LCD module, the key module, the fault information module, the watchdog, the pump control, the sensor, the data acquisition and processing module and the RS-485 communication. At present, the prototype has been successfully debugged,it is evinced that all the function designed can be carried out.
