With the development of IT, Mobile OA is getting more and more important in the governments, enterprises and institutions. The traditional OA solutions are unfit for this field for their own limitations as they can't combine with the mobile equipment. In order to make news to be conveyed and new directives to be implemented as soon as possible, Decision-making department and implementation department needs a Mobile OA solution with more efficient, more convenient and more flexible functions.Based on Linux and Qt/Embedded, the overall technology solution and system architecture of this Mobile OA System are researched in this dissertation. This dissertation mainly discussed the design, modeling and implement of the PDA software system. The dissertation introduces the project-related technology, including PDA choice, GPRS and Qt/Qtopia. According to the requirement of the project and the result of investigation, an innovative mobile OA system overall technical solution is proposed. The dissertation focus on several representative application software modules with a detail description in functional requirements, module structure, UML modeling and module implement. Implement each modules of PDA with Mobile OA system is implemented based on Qtopia development environment of Linux with C/C++ programming. Meanwhile, two design methods of Qt/Embedded are discussed in this dissertation. A single father class development model in GUI development with an innovative way is proposed. The system is easy to operate with a compact structure and runs stably. The dissertation is a good reference for the designs of embedded portable devices based on Linux.
