With the fast development of computer science and software development technology, the informationization management of College Entrance Examination has already been more and more widely applied, which can improve work efficiency, speed up information exchange, increase information transparency and improve resource-sharing, thus it has become an emerging research focus in recent years.According to the actual need of College Entrance Examination Information Management, the thesis proposes a new architecture for College Entrance Examination Information Management Platform based on novel C/S and B/S mixed-mode, so as to to provide dense and high access system with high availability. Using multi-tier C/S framework to ensure high availability of C/S system, the thesis provides some key technologies such as the communication mechanism between servers and clients based on heartbeat, file transfer model based on event-driven so as to improve the C/S system performance, and introduces the implementation about main business modules of C/S system. Using n-Tier B/S framework to guarantee high availability of B/S system, the thesis proposes some good ideas such as adaptive connection pool and dynamic cache mechanism based on P-LRU in order to optimize B/S system performance, and introduces the implementation about main business modules of B/S system. In addition, some main problems such as access control, system auto-upgrade, data consistency and performance optimization techniques are provided with effective solutions to take advantage of the superiority of mixed-mode and make the system to achieve better scalability, maintainability and availability.In this mode, unlike the old mixed-mode, Clients are not limited to be used in LAN, and can be used online or offline, and realize data storation safely in local. Clients select low-weight SQLITE as the local text database. Facing with too many users in college entrance examination, the separation of server database ORACLE and client database SQLITE is effective in easing the overhigh pressure of servers, which has been proved in 2008 and 2009 Hunan College Entrance Examination application.
