| With the continuous expansion of the scale of Internet and the constant introduction of new applications, the network which under the IPv4 agreement has shown its limitations. Therefore IPv6 agreement will eventually replace IPv4 agreement; it will become the inevitable trend of the development of the future network agreement. At the same time, the constantly emerged security problem of network is becoming the major problem of network. The network security technology is also increasingly suffering unprecedented extensive attention. As one of the important ways to achieve the network security technology, firewall technology gradually becomes an important research direction of network security technology.Chinese Education and Science Research Network which based on the opening of IPv6 Campus Network (CERNET2) provided an excellent platform for our study of IPv6 and related technology. It is a balance between experimental and practical network, it will take to test new technology, culture technical personnel, make preparations for the future operating type IPv6 network. So researching on the IPv6 campus network and security technologies are necessary and very promising.Based on this trend of development, this paper will introduce the principle of IPv6, compare IPv4 agreement to IPv6, and analyze several common transitional technologies. Combining the most current campus network disposition, independently design and architect large-scale IPv6 network in campus network ,apply such as WWW,DNS services in IPv6 campus network. And describe a system designing and implementation packets filter,database design and management based on WEB ,which based on LINUX system IPv6 firewall, through the actual test conditions to test the IPv6campus network running status and firewall system ,and finally to verify the accuracy and high efficiency of project designing. At last it looks to the IPv6 future networks and the development prospects of IPv6 firewall technology. |
