Research Of Measurement Model Based On Software Outsourcing Service Prop Up Platform

With the rapid development of information technology and the further deepening of international affiliation of the business division, software and information service outsourcing has an important meaning in saving the cost and enhancing the enterprise's core competence. Software outsourcing has become a globalize industry.They can produce high quality software products just as specifying and measuring process and improving continuously. Software outsourcing is particularly important, because the enhancing demand to the ability that domestic and international enterprises request the organization and unit who accept the order. So to build a perfect system in process improvement and measurement for software outsourcing is an important method that software outsourcing organizations increase product quality and efficiency, promote brand awareness and customer satisfaction.In order to offer the better quality service to the highly efficient in sending and receiving software and daily business of software outsourcing enterprises, it is necessary to build a mature supporting platform for software outsourcing. The system of process measure can assist software outsourcing enterprises in executing CMMI-based quality metric and process improvement base on this supporting platform.The dissertation analyzes the basic theory of software metrics and steps, heterogeneous data exchange methods, CMMI and other related technologies. The dissertation arise the technical framework that base on a supporting platform software outsourcing which is proposed by the actual requirement of Harbin software outsourcing factory. Combined with the GQM method theory , proposed a GMDR model of process measurement of software outsourcing that support heterogeneous data exchange The model defines a series of aims that are used in measures which include the aim of organization, project and so on, analyses collecting methods and evaluation principle of the measuring data, build a measure database and heterogeneous data exchange system, and proposed methods and steps in process improvement. The process measurement of software is validated by two actual project of software outsourcing. The results proved that the model of the software process measurement can improve the efficiency and quality of software efficiently; also, the model can increase the software maintainability and controllability of the software development. It is proved that the bind of GMDR model and the supporting platform of software outsourcing can not only resolve the problem of process measurement in heterogeneous data environment, but also provide good experiences for the medium and small software outsourcing enterprise of China.
