Along with the progress of the science and the technology, the Mobile Phone is not only a communication device, but also an important tool for personal data handling. With the coming of 3G, many kinds of applications occur on mobile phone, including network game. The network game has succeeded on PC platform, and the network game on mobile phone is regard as an important application. But now there is little work on the research about mobile phone's network game, and the little work is not full-scale. This paper tries to understand enough the mobile phone platform, at the same time, thinking about the feature of network game, at last, design a technical framework about network game. And I hope this framework can help developer on mobile phone's network game.The basic research method in this paper is regarding the feature of mobile phone as basic, at the same time, referring the solution on PC network game. In this paper, I first introduce the basic knowledge about mobile phone and mobile phone network game, and analyze the technical feature and the limitation about mobile phone. Then I analyze the requirement about mobile phone network game. One of the keystones in this paper is creating a technical framework based on mobile phone's network game. This framework can fit a standard network game. At the server part of this framework, I analyze the protocols about mobile phone platform and design many service for the requirement. At the client part, I design some modules. These modules supply the ability of communication between server and client, and the ability of calling the service from the server.Comparing mobile phone platform with PC platform, the mobile phone is a limited platform. These limitations include the ability of compute, the size of memory, the size of storage, multimedia ability, etc. So developing on mobile phone is different with PC. We have to take some solutions that can fit mobile phone. This paper is to analyze and design this kind of special solutions.The objective of this paper is creating a full-scale solution about network game on mobile phone. There are maybe many problems on the process of developing a mobile phone network game. This paper is for resolving these problems. This paper not only describe these problems, but also give many solutions about these problems, I think this paper can help developers on mobile phone network game.
