| Ad hoc network is self-organizing network without the aid of any established infrastructure and centralized administration. Wireless Ad hoc network is accessed from wireless channel and it is called mobile Ad hoc network (MANET). MANET is highly flexible, easy to build and doesn't need any infrastructure to support. MANNET is optimistic about business prospects. It is can be predicted that MANET will play a very important role in the future market. As Ad hoc network can be organized fast and flexible, can be accessed anywhere and at any time, seamlessly switching, etc, it has become a hot research in the field of wireless communications in recent years.This paper presents a realization method of Ad hoc network management platform based on ARM platform and Linux operating system, with IEEE802.11b/g as data link layer and physical layer specification. It introduces the adaptive interconnection programme of the same-structured Ad hoc network and the method of Ad hoc network access Internet. And prove the feasibility of the interconnection programme through test.The paper first outlines the concept of Ad hoc network, features, applications, architecture, the key technology, current research situation at home and abroad, major research institutions as well as the development prospects. Then it introduces the programme of the management and testing platform for Ad hoc network, mainly introduces its hardware platforms, design, architecture, the main interface and the impact of fading in the wireless channel on Ad hoc network. Next, the paper presents the implementation and testing programme of adaptive interconnection of the same-structured Ad hoc network based on awareness. It mainly introduces the interconnection processes, the main mechanism and algorithms, and proves the feasibility of the programme through test. At last, the paper introduces the implementation and testing programme of the access of MANET to Internet using RREP proxy, NAT servers and default gateway. |
