As one of the key technologies in the field of industrial automation control,fieldbus realizes the bottom open and fully distributed control communication;at the same time,the interconnection requirements between different bus systems are increasing day by day.Aiming at the communication requirements between ASI bus and EtherCAT bus,this paper designs a bus interconnection system to realize the two-way communication between EtherCAT master and ASI slaves.The main research contents of the paper are as follows:A design scheme for interconnection between ASI bus and EtherCAT bus is proposed.Based on the analysis of ASI bus characteristics and EtherCAT communication principles,combined with the control requirements,the overall description is carried out from the hardware platform and software communication.In terms of hardware,the EtherCAT devices adopt the architecture of ARM + FPGA,and the ASI devices implement their functions based on the ASI4 U special chip;in terms of software,a solution for data information transmission and bus interconnection through the EtherCAT-ASI gateway is proposed.Design the ASI master-slave communication system based on the overall scheme.Design and select ASI master and slave hardware equipments based on the ASI4 U chip;study the communication realization mechanism of the ASI bus,establish the ASI four-layer communication model and study the ASI signal modulation analysis and message transmission technology,analyze the ASI master station request and slave stations response message transmission process,study the error diagnosis and fault handling mechanism of the ASI system;design the specific process of ASI software communication to realize the signal transmission between the master and slave stations.Based on the realization of ASI master-slave communication,a ASI bus and EtherCAT bus interconnection system is designed.Study the hardware architecture of the EtherCAT master station based on the Beagle Bone Black development board and the EtherCAT slave station based on the CME-M7 chip,design the hardware equipment of the gateway;analyze the communication and interaction process of the interconnected system,design the FPGA data information transmission module to control the signal transmission and analysis of ASI4 U chip to realize the two-way transmission of data information of the gateway.Build an experimental platform to test the functional and performance of the system based on the above research results.Using HZPAC(Hua Zhong Automation Programmable Controller)as the software development platform for EtherCAT communication test,ASI communication test and system function performance test,the experimental results show that EtherCAT master station and ASI slave stations can achieve two-way communication,and the ASI and EtherCAT interconnection system designed in this paper has effectiveness and feasibility.
