As the network transition from 2.5G to 3G, more and more new applications are innovated for mobile handset, such as the visible mobile phone, streaming player, CMMB, etc. Along with the increase of applications, the memory occupancy brought by the application systems becomes a problem. Therefore, how to better arrange system resources and build up a good mechanism of memory management is truly critical to the mobile handset that is based on the development of embedded system.Because the memory management of embedded system must be real-time and reliable for different applications, while the memory resources is limited. So an effective and reliable mechanism of memory management is essential for an excellent embedded system. This thesis raises a new theory of dynamic config management, which bases on the embedded system platform (NAND+SDRAM). By combining the dynamic and static system resources load, it overcomes the problems of large memory occupancy and high cost, thus improves the competition of the product. Under the theory, the memory management grounded on the resources load - Auto-applicable Memory Allocation Arithmetic is the core model, which is based on some memory allocation arithmetic in common use. This memory management not only can effectively control resources allocation and free, but also can decrease memory fragments, therefore, to improve the utilization rate of memory. The thesis provides a detailed explanation about the data structure used and the key realization process.
