Through the unified multi-instrument control, mobile phone RF automatic testing system can be able to do the complex automatic testing, and avoid errors caused by human factors. It will greatly enhance efficiency of the type approval testing. At the same time, it will bring the non-ignored impact to the measurement results. At present, the relevant standards have not been introduced in the field of the mobile phone RF automatic test system uncertainty assessment in China. And in this respect, there are few documents. In order to improve the testing accuracy of mobile phone RF automatic testing system, the paper will make mathematical models of mobile phone RF automatic testing system's uncertainty evaluation using the basic theory of uncertainty based on the relevant ETSI standards. This will provide a theoretical basis for the uncertainty analysis of the radio measurement.First of all, the paper gives the basic theory of the uncertainty and the brief introduction of the automatic testing system. Then, uncertainty analysis theory in RF testing will be discussed in detail, especially mismatch uncertainty and its evaluation method. And taking GSM mobile phone RF automatic testing system as an example, the uncertainty's mathematical model of the power-related and frequency-related testing items will be given separately. After a detailed analysis of each component, the uncertainty report of all the testing items is given, and an uncertainty report generation process is developed. Finally, through the analysis of the uncertainty report, the paper puts forward the way to reduce the uncertainty of the system.
