Recently, with the increasing exploitation of space resource all over the world, stratospheric information platform has already been the hotspot of current research. Low altitude verification airship is used to analyze and verify the characteristics of stratosphere due to the restriction of science and technology.In this paper, the research actuality for stratospheric airship, data acquisition and control is summarized. The technique of data acquisition and control for a small low-altitude airship is also studied. Subsequently, a system hardware architecture of"Digital Signal Processor(DSP)+Micro Control Unit(MCU)+Complex Programmable Logic Device(CPLD)"is brought forward, which includes MEMS inertial sensor selection, internal and external circuit of GPS receiver, signal conditioning, data acquisition module, servo control circuit. Combined with data processing technology in INS/GPS integrated navigation system, software of multi-sensor data fusion algorithm and servo control system are developed based on above hardware structure. And then, the data acquisition and control subsystem for a small low altitude verification airship is designed with compact structure, low power consumption, low cost. Simulation data and platform experiment indicates that servo control system is feasible and valid. In the end of this paper, the evaluation and conclusion of data acquisition and control subsystem is proposed. And some proposals for further study are presented.
