Traffic Analysis And Security Study Of Netflow In The IP Man

The development of Internet forces the fast increase of global economy. As the Internet being more complex, the carrier has more difficulty to manage the IP network. So the carrier needs more effective tools to analyze and manage the network. As a traditional technology, SNMP can't analyze the detail information and the direction of the data flow. It can't meet the carrier's need any more, but the Netflow technology can make up the limitation. It can capture and analyze the key information of the data flow, so the users can master the network through it.This article research how to deploy a set of network flow analysis system which fits to the demand of Shanghai CNC network maintenance. It helps the engineers to monitor the flow of network, and optimize the network structure by the situation of network flux, direction and application. At the same time, it will bring some innovative service by the flow analysis technology.This article relies on the project of Netflow deploying in the IP MAN, and thoroughly analyze not only the Netflow technology, but also the SNMP technology from the Internet Carrier side. By contrasting the two technologies, the author decides to use the Netflow technology as the management and analysis tools of the IP MAN. Then this article introduces the plan and the key points of deploying the Netflow system in the IP MAN. After these, it has the foundation for the future application. Using the system, this article describes the flow analysis of the IP MAN and the key customer, also the judgment and disposal of the network attack. At last this article designs and studies the applications of the rate based billing, network monitoring and network fault active-discover system.
