Solid-state transmitter is the important development trend of modern radar. Moreover, the cooling system is one of key system of transmitter.This paper introduced the constitution of the solid-state transmitter, and analyzed heat generation mechanism of electronics part. Based on some radar's structure characters and working environment, it were declared the design idea of cooking system and its construction, including thermal design of the TR and power modules, flow distribution system and cooling system. Importance was attached on some radar's key techniques, solving method and realization process in practice. It were compared the simulation result with test result. At the end the paper also introduced the system test and performance evaluation of cooling system.Environment control technique provides a high-efficiency solving method for radar thermal design. The success of this cooling system also provides reference for thermal control in solid radar system.
