The display module is an important part of ECG device, and it provide human-computer interaction and display for the ECG device.Good human-computer interaction and display will make the users operation the ECG or observe ECG data easily, these are important for the user's judgement. In this paper ,we present an update designed and implementation scheme for the display module improve.Firstly, this paper describe the touch panel module. By analyzing the resistive touch screen and the working theory of touch screen controller ADS7843,we designed a control circuit of the touch screen by using C8051F MCU's internal resources.This circuit not only improve the resource utilization, simplify the system hardware, but improves the system reliability.Secondly, this paper introduce the LCD module in detail. In hardware design part,by comparing the different LCD modules and the different LCD interface types, we will continue to use C8051F120 MCU as the master control chip and select the sharp's LCD-LQ043T3DX02, because the lower power consumption and lower price of ECG device are we must be consider.Then in according with the requirement of the LCD timing signals, we use XC2C54A to generate the timing signals,at last we determined the composition of the LCD display module. In software part, the paper mainly completes several aspects hereinafter: 1. The implement of the color of the LCD and the design of palette; 2.File allocation table and the different operation of the XRAM; 3.The implement of display Chinese characters, DBC case, point, horizontal line and vertical line; 4.Compressed storage Logo data.Finally, by using the simulation software ,we proved of the feasibility of some display functions in the display module, and we tested the LCD update .
