Time-lenses have been applied to the temporal imaging, optical communication, optical signal processing and other aspects. With the development of the optical information technology, people have had a keen interest in this field and made a lot of research. Short-pulses generation, optical pulses compression and temporal imaging are the important research issues using the time-lens.The principles of time-lenses have been discussed here. And we analyze the Temporal Imaging of time-lens in detail. The article discusses how the time-lens can have impact on optical pulse and shows the effects impacted by aberrations in dispersion and phase modulation. And at last, the theory is validated by numerical simulating and experimental. The main jobs of this article include the following:1).The working principle and basic imaging theory have been given here. We found that Temporal Imaging based on time-lens can convert the measured signal between the time domain and frequency domain, and at the same time, signal compression can be achieved. This will reduce the measurement accuracy of equipment requirements, and is also a more satisfactory testing method.2).Experimental model should be constructed here. By studying the system, the process of signal transmission through the model is derived.3).The dispersion and nonlinear of the systems is analyzed through the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation method. We mainly analyze the effects of high-order dispersion and aberrations in phase modulation, and at the same time, we gave out the numerical simulation of the relations under the conditions of the various parameters. At last, we get the conclusion of the experimental results.By theoretical analysis and numerical simulation of optical signal processing which uses the Temporal Imaging based on time-lens, the results show that, this method is useful and also has a potential application based on the principle of time-lens.
