The target of mine safety work is to eliminate accidents or reduce the occurrence amount of accidents. Hidden dangers are fundamental factors of accidents.In order to avoid occurrence of accidents, we should find hidden dangers existing in the production system, master their characteristics and make the influencing degree of each hidden danger affectting system safety clear. After the main dangers existing and the key hidden danger affecting them being found, we can take measures to control them. The precondition of decision-making and accident controlling is system safety analysis and assessment.Based on theoretical analysis,some model were established,and then computer software were designed and developed.Fianlly the software was applicated on some practical examples.First,Theoretical analysis and research were done on decison-making and accident contolling about coal mine accdients.Analysed the corelationship between accidents and hidden dangers amd the characteristics of coal mine production system, the development of mine safety decison system was put forward.As to hidden dangers,based on their characteristics,grey relation analysis was suggest. Developmetn procedure and difficulty and keystone were mastered after theoretical analysis on decison support system.Grey relation analysis models for hidden dangers were established which prepared for computer models in mine safety decision support system.At last, Mine Safety Decision Support System software was designed and developed, using Visual Basic 6.0 language and Micorsoft Access 2003 as development tools. The architecture of this system took advantage of the two librarys structure based on database library and model library. The system built some grey relation analysis models in the model library based on mathematical model and manual algorithms bulit by early scholars. To introduce development and application of the system,Grey relational comprehensive analytic hierarchy process model was given as an example.Through grey relation analysis models provided by mine safety decision support system, coal mine safety managers could analyze hidden dangers probablely caused accidents, find and evaluate the key factors and their relationships, and got information for safety decision-making and approach to control accident.The establishment and improvement of the system will provide more support information for mine safety analysis and decision-making; it also provides a potential way to mke full use of present safety information.
