Research On Software Test Method Of Grid Resource Load Management System

Software testing is a black art, black means that the tester have to psychologically accept that testing is to make a procedure going through a process full of abuse and violence; art carries that the tester have to develop strategies from the point of economics view in order to complete the whole testing process. Along with the black art become more and more exciting in software development, the status of software testing in the life cycle of software development became much more important.Testing a simple procedure is a black art, so does the complex grid software. LSF is mature and excellent grid software that was developed by Platform Software Company in Canada. Enhancing the understanding of software itself will be benefit to our testing work in this project.In this article, firstly, I studied the definition, policy, principle of software testing, and how to plan the software testing process, which established the base for the analysis of the whole software testing process. The article concluded and analyzed the whole LSF software testing process including the start of scrum development management; analysis of the requirement document; design of the use case; design and execution of the test plan; automation of the test case; submission of the bug report; quality assessment of the project; introduction of the alpha testing period; till the release of the product, discussing the correct implementation principle and problem analysis and giving proper advices.1. During the whole testing process, design of use case should be abstracted in high level as possible; writing test plan is in need of considering different sceneries; there would be defined available structure in automation cases; testor should be allocated properly too.2. Scrum work is taken in testing in order to resolve problem as soon as possible and push the whole project to moving forward smoothly.3. In intergrated testing phase, the entire task is assigned with an owner. That resolves the problem of heavy stress of integration test and lacking of resources.
