Worm is a kind of malicious code that can run itself and can propagate itself to other machines. It does not depend on human being and has the features of initiative and intelligent. This kind of malicious code has been one of the most serious threats to Internet security due to the significant damage, large range of victims and fast propagation. In recent years, P2P system is popular, and more and more people become its customers. In P2P environment, convenient sharing and rapid routing mechanism has provided more opportunities to attack networks for the network worms. Therefore, the research of this paper is aimed at the modeling of P2P-worm propagation based on network security of P2P system. This paper has researched an analysis in the characteristics and interaction of vicious worms and benign worms, and introduced a theoretical framework of worm detection and defensive. The main research work is modeling worms propagation based on P2P system.In the research of modeling worms propagation, firstly introduced a few traditional model of infectious diseases. These models have been unable to describe the interaction of vicious worms and benign worms and put forward a model which can describe the two worms'interaction. And then the model carried out a detailed theoretical analysis, verification of the effectiveness in describing such process.This paper briefly outlined several defense network worm detection methods and a P2P worm defense system, and analyzed the design of target, defense process, detection technology and its effectiveness.
