With the rapid development and wide spread application of the Internet, people onthe Internet are becoming increasingly concerned about security issues. Among them,Internet worms become one of the greatest threats of network security, because of theirserious harm, wide attack range and fast transmission speed. Especially the wide use ofP2P applications, P2P worms quickly spread by making use of P2P networks, theycaused a great shock and damage to the internet. As their own characteristics,so thattraditional worm defense mechanisms can no longer be effective against P2P wormattacks. In the analysis of traditional worms, based on the analysis of P2P worms, incombination with their spread characteristics, we propose the idea that is to use thebenign worm defense against P2P worms. The main contents are given as follows:Firstly, make a detailed analysis of the internet worm, P2P worms and benignworm, summed up the status of domestic and foreign research worm.Secondly, Propose a strategy that divide-and-rule-hybrid-benign worms againstP2P worms based on delay-time,and make the mathematical model accord to thisstrategy.Thirdly, Make the simulation experiment for this strategy. The results show that:the strategy achieve a good defensive effect with a low consumption of networkresources.
