With the rapid development of the embedded technology, the wireless communication based on embedded system has become the new technical trend. The embedded system is widely applied in industrial fields, such as long-distance monitoring, remote data acquisition and control, etc, because of its mini-type, special used, portable, high-reliable. With the function of the embedded system is growing, and system procedure is more and more complicate, the reliability and stability of system is difficult to be guaranteed with the traditional approach to program. It is the effective way of solving the problem that using the embedded operating system as the software platform. In this design, ARM microprocessor, which is a kind of advanced 32-bit embedded RISC microprocessor accredited in this field, is selected as the hardware platform. The real-time operating systemμC/OS-II is adopted for the software platform.μC/OS-II is a kind of multi-tasks, real-time operation system which is especially designed for the microprocessor. It has many advantages, for example, its kernel source code is open, easy to learn, and easily to be transplanted.At the same time, the fast development of the network technology is good message for the Wireless Monitoring System. So we use the wireless ZigBee technology to achieve the transmission of data acquisition. ZigBee technology is particularly suited to small data throughput and network construction investment, the higher requirements of the network security, inconvenience frequent battery replacement or recharging occasions. In this thesis using TI's CC2430 the data transmitted by ZigBee.is achieved.This thesis firstly introduces the overall structure of the system and analyzes the function demands, then gives the project of the hardware circuit design and the software design. The hardware platform's core is microprocessor LPC2114, and the modules are designed by selecting equipment based on the requirement. In the design of hardware. Power supply circuit, Serial circuit, HCI Circuit, A/D Circuit, Switch input and output circuit, as well as the interface to the ZigBee communication module is introduced. In the design of software. TheμC/OS-II operating system is transplanted to LPC2114. Software of Serial Driver, ARM communication with ZigBee, as well as HCI software is designed.At last, the network formation and data transmission of the ZigBee network are studyed.Wireless embedded weighing controller has the characteristics of small size, low price and high reliability. It offers transparent and high efficiency data transmission channel, and can be widely used in industrial weighing control.
