With wide application of machine vision system, Industrial camera (the"eyes"of the machine vision system) as the core of the system is the core component requirements,which need higher image quality and high transmission speed, however, spending is increased accordingly. Now embedded machine vision controller is mostly with standard data protocol interfaces.It is nessassry to buy expensive standard interface CCD camera for the construction of machine vision system in such a controller. And, that'll improve the cost of construction machine vision system. Therefore, reducing the cost of the camera is an effective way to reduce the cost of machine vision control system.This thesis designed CCD industrial camera, which is suitable for the embedded machine vision for measurement and seek.It's no use of standard industrial bus protocols between the camera and controller, however, we designed a kind of custom parallel port protocol, and the CCD camera will be fully integrated with the controller, then save the purchase spend of CCD standard interface camera. This design is difficult to understand the complex CCD driving timing, to configurate AD9929 CCD to genrate sequence and to realize a CCD data capture at high speed and to ensure the high quality images.This design includes two main parts: CCD driving circuit designing and CCD image capture at high speed. Driving circuit is designed by special CCD signal processing chip AD9929, this simplifies the design of the front analog design and increases the stability. This thesis studies the hardware design of CCD ICX424AL driving circuit based on chip AD9929 and the software design of FPGA.The realiztion of CCD high-speed data capture CCD by DSP + FPGA architecture has three parts: The FPGA module design, DSP data transmission by PDT way and ethernet design based on DNK. FPGA modules designed to achieve as follows: (1) as a follow-up data of the buffer zone; (2) as the synchronous of DSP peripheral control of CCD image data acquisition and DSP PDT transmission.Test results show the camera image high-definition, transmission speed highly.The design can achieve the desired results, and the CCD camera has been embedded into the whole system.
