Motivated by innovative business models, most of smart phones carries open software platform, the mobile phone users can download and use mobile phone applications through the platform. and the third party software developers can develop applications with the SDK of software platform. The success of the model of App store proved that smart phones have become the mobile sale terminals of software. While figures show that in 2008 the sales volume of low-cost mobile phones was 4 times more than that of smart phones, with such a high coverage of customers there isn't any similar operating system platform or operating system for low-end mobile phone products, low hardware processing power and closed software system perform the major limiting factors.The course of development of mobile communication terminals shows that, the low price mobile phones are manned with weak processing power hardware platform and operating system. This thesis carried out a feasibility analysis of stacking a middleware platform on low-end mobile phones, and proposed design of infrastructure and interfaces for MTK base-band system and based on dynamic links. The performance index of the middleware platform according to this research and development has reached commercial standards.High-powered graphic system is one of the most important parts of operating system. No matter applications or video games, the information interaction of them bases the graphic system. The software system of MTK does not support high speed image refresh, meanwhile the developer can not get decoding data of coded images, both of them result in the design and development of applications and games are difficult. The structures of mainstream graphic systems such as Java and BREW GRAPHICS API are researched; the graphic hardware's characters and the mutual calling between components of software platform are analyzed deeply in this thesis. The graphic software system based on MTK is designed. The high speed refresh system based on limited environment was implemented by using memory image surface, and the Gif format decoding was optimized according to the character of Doug Lea Malloc that using small memory chunks in huge can decrease the performance.The graphic system high speed refresh engine transplanted to WIN32 GDI interface to provide developer the PC developing environment, compatible DC and double buffers of DC were used to clear up phenomena of twinkle in single DC structure.
