In this paper the author work college, for example, put forward the application of data mining technology association rules and decision tree to excavate students' performance behind hidden in the valuable information research plan, the purpose is for teaching management in the teaching work to provide important basis for decision-making。Association rules and decision tree is data mining application wide two algorithms. Firstly, computer science graduate students with all the major achievements, for example, through the data data cleaning, data transfer, data about data pretreatment, to explore Apriori association rules algorithm using the relationship between classes, and guide students to different classes and reasonable arrangement plan of study subjects. Combining DMX realize data mining, get the experimental results and the experimental results were analyzed and explained. Next to the admissions grades and graduate students at courses grades of points for the experiment data, and the proposed model is given students.I have granted by the computer specialized classes of students as the research object, through the questionnaire survey to students, the relevant students based on time and on the computer, the degree of interest, and habits etc, according to the survey data of college students' administration system for the basic situation of the information data and test scores, using the data in the database connection relationship, formed a containing multiple attribute of student achievement database. In the decision tree model of the process, USES is C4.5 algorithm. The algorithm has the largest recursive choice of attribute information gain rate, test attributes as a good student achievement is generated and whether students failed two decision tree model, easy to understand the rules of classification, and the classification rules are analyzed and evaluation, and provide decision support for teaching department information, make a better teaching work, improve the quality of teaching.
