Research And Development Of Mobile Agent Based Military Logistics Management System For Police

The modern military logistics combines military logistics with information technology and the construction of informationization is regarded as the infrastructure and necessary means to promote the military logistics ability. But the requirements of applications in military domain are always demanding. In most cases the network is in unstable state on which traditional logistics management systems are hard to work. The military logistics management system based on mobile agent, which overcomes the shortcomings of traditional logistics management systems based on C/S model, realizes asynchronous working model and is capable of working on unstable network with strong independence.In this paper, a military logistics management system based on mobile agent technology is studied and implemented. In this system, the agent technology from artificial intelligence is introduced to combine information retrieval, information recording, warehouse management and transportation management in order to provide an intelligent military logistics platform which is convenient for management and operation.This paper first introduces the background of military logistics management system and the related technology including military logistics technology, mobile agent technology and an agent development framework JADE(Java Agent Development Framework, JADE). Then the paper presents the design of a military logistics management system based on mobile agent including the system architecture and database design. Finally, the implementation of the system is presented to prove the validity of the solution.
