Lesson-preparing activity has been regarded as an important part of ensuring the quality of teaching. However, if seen from the current two lesson-preparing forms, individual and collective lesson-preparing, which are more and more difficult to ensure teaching quality of the New Curriculum Reform. The traditional collective lesson-preparing has many limitations on time and space. The electronic lesson-preparing has also a lot of constraints. Faced with these problems, it need introduce new concepts and technological means to change and solve a number of current lesson-preparing problems.The purpose of this study is to bring WIKI technology into teachers' lesson-preparing activities. From the views of practical needs and system development, designing and developing WIKI technology-based lesson-preparing platform (Eduwiki) can provide a basic environment for teachers' lesson-preparing activity. The needs analysis which is from investigation is the major source of system development. The dissertation discusses the functional structure of Eduwiki and the designing of data table in detail. Integrated the requirements of constructing Eduwiki system and the programming model of .Net Framework and the MVC model and technology, the key technologies of developing Eduwiki have been put forward from a technical point. The dissertation also stresses the whole process of researching and developing Eduwiki by the method of development research. It introduces the system realization through case study from teachers' lesson- preparing activities.In order to realize typical application of WTKI technology, the teachers who are belonging to the subject of Chinese, English and Information Technology have carried out a 2-month and 5-month experiment respectively to verify and explore how to integrate Eduwiki system into teachers' daily lesson-preparing activities. The experiments use the method of single-group research post-test and the experiment data input, collection and analysis are used the tools of Excel 2003 and SPSS for Windows 16.0. The result of Experiment one shows that Eduwiki (Beta) does not meet the needs of teachers fully. The effective percentage and average number are below the middle value from the five dimensions: activity support, application mode, technology environment, interaction and collaboration and leaders' attitudes. The result of Experiment two shows that the function of Eduwiki(l.O) and collaborative lesson-preparing application mode have achieved good results. The results can be proved by effective percentage and average number which are above the middle value from eight dimensions: individual activity, self-fulfillment, collaborative activities, sharing, problem-solving, technology environment, comparative advantage, and leaders' behaviors. Through interviewing with the participants, the study reflects that leaders support and establishing relevant management regulations are the important factors for implementing the experiments and easy operation is the external condition for teachers to do collaborative lesson-preparing. The radiating application mode which is from backbone teachers to the ordinary teachers has a positive role in launching collaborative lesson-preparing activities. The experimental results show that the teachers' skills have been improved by the main function of Eduwiki 1.0 indeed.
