The Design Of Curriculum Learning Forum Based On CPSL

There commonly exist several problems about curriculum learning forum, especially the lack of real-time communication, the deep excursion phenomenon in the discussion, the weakness of consciousness about collaboration, and so on. Except the subjective factors of staff and students, the structure and function defects of learning forum self are other key factors. How to improve the interaction quality efficiently, exert the value of learning forum thoroughly, and promote the construction of forum better, aroused the widest concern of teachers and educational technologists.Collaborative problem-solving learning (CPSL) achieves the purpose of problem-solving through team collaboration; and promotes problem-solving effectively through collaborative learning via the creation of situations oriented to problem-based learning. As a new pattern of web learning concerned closely by educational technologists, CPSL gradually intermingles into the idea of construction and application of learning forum, and becomes to be one of the chief study modes in learning fo(?)um. For the matter, the theory and ideas of CPSL can direct the construction and promotion of learning forum preferably, and cover the shortage of learning forum.This study mainly adopts the methods of document analysis, survey, interviews, and so on, to quantitative statistics and qualitative analysis. Based on theory research, I modified the source code and create the CPSL forum, and tested it when I was on probation in Zhejiang Ocean University. The design of learning forum based on CPSL merits the function of real-time communication in chat-room system, and the mechanisms for collaborative problem-solving and knowledge sharing on interactive questions and answers board. So it can effectively assist the learners to solve problems, heighten learning efficiency, and optimize learning result, then promote teaching and learning under the network environment. CPSL forum assembles superiorities of chat-room system, BBS system and interactive questions and answers board system, and works at creating a harmonious environment for collaborative learning to raise, discuss, solve and widen problems.I am firmly convinced that, as the maturity and perfection of CPSL forum gradually, it will be the very collaborative learning platform oriented to problem-solved.
