The Design And Implementation Of ASP-based Chat Room

The continuous development of computer science, Internet gradually spread, people’s living quality is getting higher and higher, Internet brings people convenience, chat network has already become people’s daily work, a part of life, is the addition of telephone, SMS, instant communication tool. It shortened the geographical distance of people, it is the most popular form of a communication. At present the network chat has become Internet applications, the use of a relatively high degree of an application, more and more people like this way, not only let it be entertainment tool, also make it a good assistant of work and learning.This design is the use of ASP to develop a network of chat rooms, using ASP to do Web development is both simple and practical. It is the use of ASP development of a dynamic web site, which is different from the previous development of static Web pages, it can realize man-machine interactive way, so that users will be able to achieve the page information control. The use of ASP development program is executed on the server, and then results in the client browser display, which is different from other scripting languages, some scripts are executed at the client. In addition the use of ASP has many advantages, the first one is to use many tools to develop, such as Notepad, also supported by all browsers, program execution results can be displayed in all browsers. In addition ASP language better compatibility, it can use the VBScript server component as well as a number of external components, also can use other manufacturers to provide programming language. And ASP database to support better, can be easily connected with most of the database. As the above advantages, we use ASP to develop a network chat system. In this paper, starting from the user’s needs, first introduced in the development of the entire system used to key technology, the future use of the ASP scripting language, background database using Access database. Through the analysis of the system, knowledge system as well as the overall objective to realize each function, to achieve various functions were divided in detail, then the database design of the whole process are described, first determine the data model, and then create the system require the various tables, establish the table structure, keywords etc. Then the detailed design were illustrated, described in detail the various functional modules of the actual thoughts and implementation process, in addition to the corresponding user interface, the code is also described. Finally, the developed system functions were tested and test operation, guarantees the system normal execution function.In this paper according to the data encryption technology MD5and data retrieval technology has done a preliminary study and start using.Development of the network based on the ASP chat room system to achieve a network chat room functions, but also has the advantages of simple installation, convenient use, portability, and reserving the interface, for future expansion of the preparation procedures.
