Since it came to 1990's, with the popularization of Internet and the flourishing development of mobile computing technology, mobile agent technology has been a hotspot in research of distributed computing, and mobile agent has been considered as a conduct, which combines Artificial Intelligence and distributed computing. Essentially, mobile agent is an object that looks for cooperators in the Internet on behalf of a user, and cooperaters with other agents in order to implement the task of the user. At present, the cooperation of mobile agents mainly focuses on the research of communication mechanism.Communication mechanism of mobile agent is designed mostly from the perspective of supporting mobile computing. But for a mobile agent, its position maybe changed frequently, the following problems need to be considered under mobile agent computing mode. How to give a position independence naming method for mobile agent in distributed environment, how to implement transparent locating of a mobile agent, how to handle messages which sends to mobile agent when it is being in the procedure of migration, eventually, how to resolve the problem of communicating invalidation.In order to resolve the problems which are mentioned above, a distributed communication model of mobile agent for real meaning which is high performance and reliable is proposed. The mobile agent environment is divided into several regions and Region Server and Communication component of mobile agent are using to achieve communication of mobile agent. To achieve the model, a naming method is put forward to name all the agents in the system, and mobile agent is located by addressing mechanism. For message handling, the dissertation uses improved Mailbox_based message storage and transfer mechanism, which combines the method that agent receiving the messages on its own when the agent is static. It not only reduces the messages receive timeout to advance communication efficiency, but also keeps the advantage of the original mechanisim to resolve the problem of communication invalidation well.Finally, this thesis analyzes the performance of this model, and compares it with ASRP model in co-relational work. The two models are based on Aglets of the company of IBM, and simulation is realized by utilizing the developing tool JDK, which shows that the model is more effective under the circumstances based on multiple nodes and messages.
