The Plan And Design Of Shanxi Netcom NGN

China Netcom Group proposed the development of NGN strategy to respond to the change of telecommunication market. Shanxi Netcom, in response to market competition and the strategy of the Group, began construction of the NGN network.This topic put forward the building ideas and programs of Shanxi Netcom NGN network though the analysis of the existing network and communication market.This paper introduces the details of the network planning and design of Shanxi Netcom NGN network which use new IP bearer network. The text introduces the IP bearer network and gives its QoS solutions. Through the analysis of the existing network, equipment selection and construction program of Shanxi Netcom NGN network is proposed. The program plans the required bandwidth and relay number while communicating with PSTN through the calculation of bandwidth and relay data, describes the signaling routing and call routing of different callings, put forward network access layer solutions, evolution program from the existing PSTN network to NGN and the docking program of main supporting networks. Through the test of network VoIP quality and the analysis of through Rate, this paper verified the current network performance, proved the feasibility of NGN network in service quality and cost-effectiveness. Finally, the paper pointed out the problems and deficiencies of the project and the work in the next step, the evolution program and business development trend.
