The Overall Solution Of Henan Netcom Local Network

The Public Switched Telephone Network(PSTN) of traditional service providers runs for a long time, which brings enormous incoming. The incoming of voice service based on PSTN is a principal part in total incoming. However, the present PSTN which has been worked overlong and has many old equipment couldn't provides user high quality service any more. The traditional service providers have to rebuild the PSTN, making it intelligentized and portable to adapt the situation of market competition. The emphasis problem for China Netcom Group Corporation(CNC) Henan Branch is how to seize and control more market, so that it can consolidate the position of telecommunication field in Henan province. Since reform of telecommunication service provider based on the reform of network, CNC Henan Brach must depends on new technology such as Softswitch to accelerate the reform of network, promote the stability of network and reduce the cost.This article begins with background of fixed network transformation, introduces the conception, construction and merit of Next Generation Network(NGN). Based on the present network situation of CNC Henan Branch, it analyses the problems of network and forecasts the type of network user and implementing of new service. Moreover, this paper proposes the general plan of the reform of Fixed-line telephone network, which uses Softswitch network of big-area-mode to build two big areas. This mode could promotes the transformation of voice network from circuit switching network to packet switching network, satisfies the development of network and market.. Furthermore, the paper proposes the building plan of Softswitch network and designs the building scale and the equipment configuration of signaling network. In the end, this paper deep studies the key technology involved in this plan.
