With the development of the computer technology, multi-media and network, and the more and more high degree of enterprise informationization, people's requirement of the data is explosively increasing, which makes the technology of data preservation change in revolutionary. The traditional resolution of data protection is devoted to the periodicity backup along with the problems of backup windows, consistency of data and the influence to the manufacture system. It is difficult to guarantee the flexibility of Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and the fast Recovery Time Objectives (RTO), which has became the key point of measuring the ability of meeting an emergency of contained disaster system and the ability of data protection. Therefore, the technology of Continuous Data Protection (CDP) emerge at the right moment, and this article is aimed at the system of Continuous Data Protection (CDP) in two different ways and achieved Continuous Data Protection in file level and the key technology of Continuous Data Protection in logic level.The system of Continuous Data Protection in file level functions on the file system, protecting users' key files continuously. When users' data is damaged, it can provide fast and valid file recovery at any provided time, which minimizes users' loss. The article designs to supervise files through the client software, when the files changes such as newly built, modification, deletion and so on, the client software transmits the differences in data to server end to save to form historical data edition and achieve the goal of Continuous Data Protection; when the clients' data is damaged, the client software recoveries the appointed edition data. The server software design adopts synchronization and synchronisms to deal with clients' requirement while the organizational structure of data stored uses the latest completed data and the stored way of historical differences in data. The experiment data indicates that the system of Continuous Data Protection in file level has great effects.The logical volume level system of continual data protection is aimed at the protection in view of users' logical volume by installing the mirror image driver in the client side logic volume to capture the writing and operation block data in view of this logical volume, then it transmits these block data to the server end to memorize. This article mainly aims at the design of the mirror image driver, the organizational structure way of the historical block data in the backstage server memory, the logical volume initial synchronization and the logical volume fast synchronization with restoring and so on to study. It puts forward a feasible and specifically solution through monitoring the logical volume I/O and transmits the I/O requested block data to sever through iSCSI, then the server receives the block data add-on time information to carry on the memory according to the data organization way of this topic-based group, when the data needs to carry on the synchronization, this article proposed one kind based on the block data difference logical volume fast synchronization method, which only synchronizes changing block data that has been used. It indicates that the method has achieved good effects to short the synchronization time and data quantity.
