Research And Implementtation On Data Security Problem Of The RTC IM Communication System

Instant messaging is one of the most popular applications based on the network. Chatting is the basic function of instant messaging system, other functions such as video chatting, SMS are also integrated in instant messaging system, and instant messaging is a new communication method for human following the information times. But it brings about problems concerning security and privacy protection at the same time it provides people prompt and convenient communication service. This paper proposes a security authentication infrastructure based on the ECC to build a safer, stronger RTCIM communication system.Firstly, this article analyzes the fundamental principles and pertinent technological standards of the IM system, emphasizing in the security property in these technology and standards.Then it introduces the background of ECC (elliptical curve cryptography). Based on the authentication and session key agreement protocol of identity signature, it provides a security authentication infrastructure based on the ECC for the RTC IM communication system. This paper proposes a scheme of design and implementation of session key-exchanging module of communication authentication system in details.Finally, the test results and analysis reports for this instant messaging system is put forward. The result shows that the security authentication infrastructure built by the scheme is secure, feasible, and efficient. And development direction of communication security technologies is expected.
