In more than 100 countrys, the numbers of the mobile users are bigger than that of the fixed-line users. The numbers of mobile users in China is keeping increasing. In July 2001 the numbers of mobile users in China overpassed that in USA and China has become the biggest mobile market in the world.In October 2003, the number of the mobile users(257,000,000) in China had overpassed that of the fixed users (255,000,000). In June 2004, the number of the mobile users had reached 300,599,000. The occupation ratio has approached 40%. The capacity of mobile communications system has been expanding quickly. On one hand,mobile system is developing toward the goal of higher capacity, higher coverage, and higher quality. On the other hand, the mobile communications system is moving to the stage of combining the data services, multimedia services and intelligent services. The transmitting rate of radio data will reach the speed of 2Mb/s. To fulfill the more bandwides requirements, CDMA1X-EVDO RA is build in the standerzine in 3GPP2 for CDMA 1X. It can reach the speed of 3.1Mb/s in downlink.The 3rd mobile communications can provide many high quality services and are global no-seam covered. Users can roam globally and can get any kind of communications in any time and in anywhere by mini terminals. In this paper, the writer analyzes the three main characteristics of the third generation mobile communication, of Zhengzhou, mobile network operators and the development of the evolution of network strategy to determine the future of this carrier in the introduction of third generation mobile communication network specific applications technical standard For CDMA EVDO Rev.A).After the works of driving test and data processes, the paper correct the model of Huawei SPM.After the the oretical analysis and calculation, the paper get the results that are suitable to Zhengzhou city's capacity and coverage Hereinafter, by using the software U-net of Huawei ,the paper compares the conclusions of theoretical analysis and computer simulation.Finally, the conclusions are that the CDMA EVDO Rev.A sites number is 190 in urban areas of 212.4 km~2, and the amounts are also perfect in the computer simulation study. The paper has the reliability in constructing operation of 3rd generation wireless network. It gives the solid foundation of next decision-making in network construction.
